7mm Rem Mag Recipe?

Hey all.....Just curious if anyone has a successful recipe for a 7mm RM. Powder, primer, bullet, velocity, COL? Thanks in advance.

There is about a 1000 loads on this page.

I am going to try Retumbo, CCI-250, Winchester Brass, and 160gr Accubond this Fall.

I usually load up to 3000 fps and go no farther.

I have found several loads that shoot well in various 7mmremmag rifles.Unfortunately loads that shoot well in one gun,often don't shoot well in other guns.In fact loads that are safe in one gun may produce excessive pressure in other guns.As far as COL is concerned,that depends on the particular chamber in your rifle.

Every 7mm I've owned I've been able to get to shoot very well. IMR 4831 H4831 RL22 & 19 are all good powders to try.

I used to use H4831, but now I use 4350 and I quite like it.

7MMRM load

My 7MMRM loved 63.0gr of H4831 with 140gr Nosler BallisticTip. CCI Mag primer, OCL 3.290. Grouping 0.4in

I used this load last year....pretty decent.

I decided to try Retumbo because I think it will squeeze out 75 fps at same pressure....

175 grn bullet and H4831.

IMHO there are alot better powders for 175gr bullet out of a 7mm Mag than H4831. It may work well and be very accurate in your rifle.

Retumbo will probably produce a 150 fps faster load than H4831 behind a 175.

As long as the accuracy is still there....of course

Yes I have used RL22, IMR 7828 (?), H4831 and now I use IMR 4350.
62.2 grains with a 140 grain accubond works really well in my Tikka 695.
