7mm Rem. Mag.

Same as Jason, RL22 better than RL25 so far punching paper with the same 162 AMax. Have some 4831 loaded but haven't shot it yet.

Yes this load shoots! I am into 1.5 Moa at 300 yards with it with my T-3 Varminter..

As soon as i used RL-22 up near max I knew it was the load for papper punching. Tried most other powders

As for hunting I replace that bullet with a 160 Nosler Part.. Not the same accuracy but it holds it own.

Another vote for 162grAmax. 162SST are also superb and make for decent hunting bullet.

I found Re25 to be my favorite. Fed 215M primers. Rem brass but would go with Win if I had it.

Easy to develop.

Enjoy...

awesome. thanks blackball.

being new to reloading, i'm assuming IMR 7828 ssc is the powder and IMR is the brand. what does the ssc stand for? what are the major differences between powder?

what's the best primer out there?

140gr accubond with 68gr H4831 at 3300fps. and in my M70 Bill Leeper custom I get .350''. 160gr accubond in the same rifle with 71.5gr of retumbo at 3100fps I get 5 shots in .6-.7''. deadly to beyond 300 yards if you can shoot.

7m/m mag load

Used 63 gr. IMR4831 with 160 Speer G.S. bullet this fall. Put 3 into 1" from the bench and worked superbly on an Alberta Muley in November. I've probably used this Remington 700 SS BDL DM to take my last dozen Muley and Whitetails with, most with 150 gr. Sierra and Partitions. I switched recently to the 160 gr. G.S's.
