If anyone has any pet loads for a 7mm remington magnum I would sure appreciate you sharing them.

Rifle is a Tikka superlite with 24" barrel

thanks in advance

I load for 2 different 7's. 1 a Howa the other a Remington. The Howa is generally easy to please the Rem not so much and they do not like the other's choice in loads mostly. The tricky bit was finding a bullet that they both would shoot. After that they went there separate ways, different powder different velocity. So I guess what I'm saying is in my case no such thing as a pet load that is inter changeable.

I have run:

Hornady 175 grain interlocks over IMR 4350, seated to magazine length in a Ruger 77 Hawkeye Mk II. Loaded to pressure signs in 30 degree weather and backed off half a grain.

Hornady SST's in 140 grain, same loading procedure and powder.

The 175 performed well but was not expanding reliably on deer. Excellent elk and moose load. The SST's are way, way too fast expanding for anything other than small varmints and only then if you aren't keeping the hide.

69 grs H4831SC and 140 TTSX, win brass, fed 215m...not uncommon to get sub .5" 3 shot groups at 100 meters with my budget build 783 bedded into a Boyds thumbhole.

61gr/IMR 4350/Fed brass/Fed mag primer /160gr bullet/3000fps............Win brass or CCI mag primers made no difference in my model 70 classic.Penetrates 40" of moose.

68.8grs RL26 under a 160gr Nosler Accubond, 3040 fps and superb accuracy in a Tikka T3x

Reloader 26 has become unobtainium it would seem. I tried to locate some today and came up empty, I did manage to score 4lbs of Reloader 22 and 3 boxes of 160 grain federal TBBC's for it though.
I would be happy to hit the 3K mark with the 160's and reloader 22, Its a T3x superlite with the 24" barrel.
