How would one go about acquiring a new 7mm STW? Can any gun eg a SAKO 7mm rem mag be redone? Could one start with a Remington 700 sps 7mm rem mag and have one built by Guillard (Ive heard he is amazing and I live near him). I would prfer one with a different stock than a 700 with a smaller handgrip like a tikka, sako etc

mackillan ..... buy anything yet?

How old are you?

.

LOl No I havent found on yet so will convery the 7mm rem mag sendero. Would sure like a new sako in STW but will have to settle for converting the sendero with a nightforce scope:) Unless I can buy a 7mm stw new I will convert the sendero.:adult:

I heard a saying one time that in order to be a great liar one needs a great memory................................................

The 7mm Rum looks good but it doesnt come in Sako.

Find yourself an M955 Sako in 7STW.........save a lot of headaches....wish I'd of bought two or three when I bought mine. They were clearing them out making way for the all-new 75....$525 and all the calibres you could imagine...glad I grabbed the STW but shoulda grabbed a few more.

Yep, the award for the most 7mm threads goes to: MacKid...

This should be titled the boy who cried 7mm...(27 times)

Lol I love 7mms. I have 3 left. A sendero and a Sako 7mm rem mag and a 7mm Wby mag accumark. I would love a STW. To be realistic I have been extremely distracted the past few months (Down 800K in the market, unfullfilling job, burning the candle at both ends) and this and 10 other boards and buying guns and shooting has been my diversion. So, I am forgetful as I have other things on my mind. I hope that I did not cause anyone any convenience.

Thanks sheep I will look around to attempt to find one. Would I also be able to buy a used Sako and add in a guillard barrel?
