7mm Ultra Mag Load

Ok been using 160 gr noslers but can't seem to get any more.So i would like to load up some 160gr Barnes MRX,wondering if anyone has a pet load to start from?? Sako rifle with a 24" barrel,Moose hunting load needed.

Anyone have anyloads for this cartrige,seems to be very particular to get to group well.Just wondering if anyone else is loading for this round. J

Ok been working with this for a while now.
160 gr triple shock,83gr 7828 ssc, 3070 fps,3.575 coal
Still a little big on group size (1" 150 yards)
Seems i can not get it to tighten up any more,ANY IDEAS?? Jody

3070fps is more like a 7mmremmag load,my 7mmRUM,and my 7mmstws liked to be pushed a little to deliver the best accuracy.I used the 140gr TSX at 3500fps out of my 7mmstws for moose,and elk,and it does a great job.
I am still wondering why someone would put a 24" barrel on a 7mmRUM.

I used to use 76gr of 7828 with a 168gr MK Sierra.
Punchy as hell, but wickedly accurate. I should drag that pig out again.

I shoot 160gr Accubonds with Retumbo out of my 7mm RUM. Took a while to find a good load but now it'll punch 5 bullets into a dime at 100 yards.

At one point during load development I was ready to throw the gun in the garbage. Nothing like going to the range to test out loads to find your best group is 6''.
