Anyone knows where I can get 7x57 (7mm mauser) for not too expensive a price?

My local store has them in remington core lokt, but at 45$+tx a box of 20 I consider that robbery. SFRC (theammosource) has S&B for 26$/box, but they're out of stock. I'd consider reloading, as the bullet is the same as the 7mm remington magum, canadaammo has some barnes in stock, but I'd still need some casings. And still, those barnes are almost 1$/bullet, so if I add the cost of the primer, the powder, and amortize de dies, then add my hourly rate, the S&B looks like a better deal.

I know I'm probably the last guy on the planet to shoot that calibre, and maybe getting a new rifle in a more common calibre would be cheaper (it would for sure be less aggravating), but this is to feed a swedish mauser I inherited from my grandpa, so it has some sentimental value to me.

I bought some about a month ago from Epps in Orillia. They had at least 4 different kinds in stock, all at different prices of course. I bought some Remington soft points for $31 a box. They are a site sponsor here. You could contact them to see if they ship ammo.

You're not the only one with a 7x57.

I made my loads with a little Lee Classic hand loading device, 139 grain Hornady bullets and H4350 powder.

Have about 30 left. When they run out I'll switch to S&B. The amount I shoot it's not worth investing in more bullets and powder.

Value that rifle. Husqvarna right?

Just a comment on your rifle being a Swedish Mauser. If it is a factory sporter Husqvarna and clearly marked 7x57, you are good to go. When I saw the term Swedish Mauser in your original post I imediately had visions of a Model 96 in 6.5x55. If it is a 6.5x55 please do not try to feed it 7x57 ammo.
I have a couple rifles in 7x57 and have managed to accumulate brass from factory ammo. All Federal blue box stuff. For the amount I shoot them, about 4 boxes of ammo will last me for the rest of my life if I were to reload each case 5 or 6 times. I have found that
the Hornady 175 gr RN and the 139 gr SBT both work very well. Both bullets expand well even at the relatively slow velocities generated by this cartridge. The 7x57 is a fine hunting caliber.
