I picked up Crashman's Ruger MKII 7x57 mauser recently and the first time to the range this morning loaded with 160 gr Speers, boy this rifle is a shooter I love it when this happens. Good enough for caribou I figure!

Thanks Yukonhunter, rub salt in those wounds!

Yup I knew she was a shooter! It spit out those 120 grain Sierras like a barn on fire, but the coyotes sure hated it though!

Poor Crashman, two nice rifles gone! I have his old Ruger MKII in 6.5X55 in my gun safe. Shot a very similar group last week with some 130gr Barnes TSX.

Yeah, that was my 6.5x55 first. Bought it NIB from Lever Arms around 1996. Shot just like that right outta the box. Should've never sold it!

[You are the 4th person on CGN (other than me) to own it, too. ]

YOUR KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Allright you bunch of tack driving rifle thieves!! I want all those rifles back right now or I am going to throw a temper tantrum like you have never seen before!!!

Yup, selling rifles that shoot well seems to my lot in life. But it does ease the pain a LITTLE to know that they are all in good hands now. I have a Remington 700 in 243 that shoots as well as those other three, so keep watching, it will likely be for sale soon!!
