7X57R brass

Interestingly enough, I was reading through some gun magazines yesterday and read that .444 Marlin brass makes good 7x57R brass.
I haven't tried it but one option for you.

I have made as much 7X57R and 8X57R as I and friends of mine have needed using 444 Marlin brass. Just be sure you lube the inside of the case neck well, as well as the outside of the case, before you start resizing, and do it again at each intermediate step.

FL size 444 in an 8X57 die with decapping stem removed, then use a standard 7X57 die set so that the resized case will just barely allow the action to close. You're there!

X2. Until I was able to obtain some 7x57R brass that's what I used. It isn't perfect, basically the case comes up a little short, but it works fine and there's lots of that around. DWM, RWS and Norma did make it but I'm not sure if they still do so or not. Someone on this site that may be able to help you out obtaining some is gunbug.

Update:
I've received an e-mail from gunbug and he informs me he has 7x57R brass and ammo available for purchase.
