8/3 Elevation Index Wheel "click" question... (someone check theirs)

Hey all,

I just received my DPMS BUIS and learnt that the goofs that assembled this sight used the wrong index wheel (A4 - 6/3 index wheel on an A2 Base).

Anyway,

To compensate I have scribed new 8/3 markings on the index wheel, but would like confirmation how many "clicks" there are between 3&4, 4&5 and 5&6 (will order a proper Index wheel... but in the meantime).

With my scibed Index wheel I am getting three clicks from 3~4, four clicks from 4~5 and five clicks from 5~6.

Is this correct?

All detachable sights are 3/6

They dont have the room for the 3/8
3/6 and 3/8 sights have a different thread pitch

Yeah... the DPMS BUIS is a 3/8 that's been chopped short (the wizards at DPMS). Bizarre I know.

I had a DPMS BIS -- but it got smashed of a rife and I did not buy another.
