We have just finished a small run of our original 'Shorty' shotguns. There are 3x that have been drilled and tapped in the factory locations for a Picatinny rail (rail included with purchse) ,1x that has no rail but does have the Scattergun Tech Ghost Ring sights installed and 1x that is the standard model (no rail only front fiber optic sight) Found here on the website :

If you would like to add the 'Performance Package' or anything else then just call the shop between 8-3:30, M-F and we will do out best to sort you out.
 
Couple questions just want to make sure if you have a 8.5” you can’t change the barrel to a 10” later but if you have a 10” you can swap from 8.5” to 10” anytime you want? 2nd any chance on some 10” rems in stock soon? Will any of these Shortys be in the new DM rems? Or plans to? And last what’s the overall length on an 8.5” anyway? Thanks

Not sure why you would want to buy two barrels that are only 1.5" difference in length..but the answer is 'no', they are not interchangeable.

We are working on a new hand guard that will fit the DM in both the 8.5" & 10" versions.

I made two in the last batch. They are out for bluing now and should be back into the shop by mid next week. If you have been waiting and would like to order one just call the shop and I will take it over the phone. Once they arrive back to the shop it will ship immediately.
 
I'm just ordered the 8.5 with Scattergun sights and Performance group - do I have to call ref the Performance package or has the web order taken care of it all?

All taken care of. I just installed it and now the front office is wrapping it up and making the shipping label. It will go out today and you will receive a tracking number once it leaves the shop this afternoon.

Hi Leigh. Thanks. I just called and gave my credit card # and verified my address. Could you please just verify that I am in the system for a 14" Shorty barrel? Just making sure I get that one, not the one for the regular 870.
