I’m so curious if anyone is shooting this absolutely wild caliber? 1 in 3 twist rate!!
I like the idea of both the .375 raptor and the 8.6 blackout (.338 cal)
I think the 8.6 would be cheaper... .338 bullets are a little more common and while expensive, less costly than .375.
What I wonder about the 1/3 twist of the 8.6... Sure it stabilized the subsonic heavy bullets well but would it over spin the supersonic lighter bullets? Does a 1/3 twist limit your bullet selection to subsonic only?
I'd much prefer a light carbine in .375 Raptor meself.

"Over spin?" LOL. Do you even know what that means?

8.6 BLK is just a rip off of JD Jones's .338 Whisper that he invented back in the 90's. Yes, I know the cases aren't the same and the 8.6 is a hair longer so technically it's a "new" cartridge. He did the same thing with the 300 blackout. I don't know why SSK industries doesn't sue Kevin Brittingham, it's like built custom bumpers for a F150 and then said he invented the F150. I don't like that guy.
