My buddy is getting into reloading and I've been helping him get set up and educated. In that vein, I'm reaching out to the community in assistance in finding FMJ bullets for his WWII Mauser K98. I know Prvi Partizan makes the 198 gr. bullets but where to find 'em? I've checked every online store I can think of and they seem to be in short supply. Any pointers would be most appreciated.

Check out Inter Surplus. They have PPU bullets you mentioned.

they are out there but they are going to be pricey. i use cast 323481 which is close to fmj style and use flake powder and have got very good groups with it. if you plan on shooting very much casting your own my be the way to go. my rifle is a mint k98 i purchased many years ago and decided to fire it up after many years of gathing dust.

I was going to say Intersurplus and Budget Shooter but y’all beat me to it, check out gun shows as well. I saw lots of 8mm Mauser ammo, bullets and die’s at the last two weekend’s shows I was at.

If you can find some of that Swedish 8x63 ammo that was sold on250 round browning machine gun belts you can pull the bullets and salvage the powder and bullets

the 63 stuff is hard to find now as we bought it up years ago and ripped it apart for the bullets and powder. most of the powder is flake and as of today i am still using it for load development and it is very nice powder. i bought 3 cases of the stuff and my mg34 loves the load i worked up for it.
