8 stands, one coyote down

Made 8 stands today with my cousin. I Shot this beautiful black tipped coyote at 200 yards on the 4th stand. We were sitting back to back, he was doing the howling and me the rabbit distress. Had a coyote decoy 150 yards away on top of the hill in the middle of the field, and rabbit decoy 20 yards in front of me. 10:30am this morning we got him. Surprisingly we never seen any tracks going into this spot, but every other spot where we seen nothing was plastered with tracks. Go-figure eh.

back at it tonight for one stand behind my place before dark, then heading north tomorrow, got about 10 spots lined up. Can't wait.

been trying the same thing with no luck yet. I did find a couple promising spots last Wednesday but have not been able to get back there yet.

I went today tried a couple stance, stayed for 6 hours out

and the only coyote I seen was about 1 klick away

??will try next week if the wife allows me to go...
