Hey everyone. I have yet to see any info put out there about the Eld-vt really so I figured I would share my findings in my Bergara HMR Pro with a 26” barrel and 1:7.5 twist.

Note: this gun is a known hammer and shoots a few bullets very well.

I made some very nice loads in the end with sufficient velocity but great accuracy. That being said I found the bullet very temperamental. I went from be best load to terrible in .4 gr. I may revisit eventually to see if maybe I can find a hotter load to run but I really don’t see the need to as I’m getting what I need anyways.

Here are the two loads:
Lapua small rifle
H4350 43.7gr
Cci small rifle #400
OAL of 2.690
3405 fps with an SD of 4

Hornady large rifle
H4350 43.7gr
Fed match
OAL of 2.690
3370 fps with SD of 3.5

Both neck sizing and FL sizing work fine. Also I’m not sure if it’s just my gun but it liked a lot of jump.

Both group exceptional and I shot the loads of to 800 yards with groups staying small. I’ll include the target and chrono readings for the hornady load.

Let’s hear your experiences.

HeyTikkaCorey. Just picked up a new 26” spiral fluted mtu contour SS barrel in 6Creed from Harley at Insite Arms. It’s for an Impact 737 that’s wearing a 24” Hardy CF in 6BR. Was toying with what bullets to try when I spin it on. Have 500 new Lapua SR brass. I have 750 Dtacs and 5-600 Berger 105 hybrids plus a selection of lighter Berger’s down to 90 grains. Just need the time to get at it. How far off the lands are you running? Have you tried CCI 450s in your SR brass?

I'm shooting 80gr ELDvT this winter in my 6cm, I tried IMR 4451 as I have a good amount of it on hand. The load I settled on is doing 3240 fps from my 24" barrel and will be accurate enough for coyotes out to 1/4 mile. Factory V-Match did 3310 fps, similar accuracy

SIG brass and Fiocchi LR primer

I have a 6CM built by Harley at insite arms, 1:7.5 twist it shoots 105, 109 and 112 gr into tiny little bug holes, I tried some 87gr Vmax best I could get out of them was 1" not great the 103gr ELDX shoot just OK but not as good as the 105gr so I'm just sticking with the 105 and above right around 3100 fps seems to be the sweet spot, had it out to 1110 yards on Thursday afternoon
