80% lowers from the USA

The 80% business is utterly irrelevant here. Not even clearly defined in the US.

Dlask sells 80% lowers for almost as much money as their completed lowers - I have found them state side for as low as $100 compared to Dlask's $220. Also, when I approached their table at the last gun show with my inquiry, I was dealt an abrut 'no' for an answer and then ignored.

With that said, afaik - In the US, 80% lowers are, like in Canada, not considered firearms until completed. So, I was looking to hear some feedback from people here who may have had succes/problems with bring them in.
 
Find a US seller who is prepared to export.
You might have to register it on entry into Canada.

6 clicks into their site and they were bought. I dunno what transpired at your gun show, maybe they didn't have any there at the time?

The price is a little high, but the cost of machining the 80% yourself from a jobber machine shop would be WAY more than that. And we are not the States, not enough volume here.
