The next CSRA precision rifle match will be Sunday September 25.

We will be following the NSCC precision course of fire to an extent. This match will consist of 80+6 rounds.

The match will be open to all, though there will be a $40 match fee for non-CSRA members. Cheques preferred.

Email calgaryservicerifle@gmail.com if interested.

Feel free to use any rifle, any sight though. 223/308 preferred. Other calibers will be in an open class if competitors allow. Only human portable field bipods allowed. No rear rest that you weren't born with.

I'll try to make it. I'll be returning from Peru on the 24th though so it could be tough. I'd have to bring my M1A. I have lots of rounds made up but I currently only have one 5 round mag. Know of anyone who could lend a hand? I'll be in touch. Dan H

I have a pile of mags. Want 5ers, or 20/5s?

As far as I'm concerned, we need way more gas guns and hunting rifles at these. It is a fun and challenging course of fire. Using practical rifles makes it even more so.

CSRA Precision Rifle Match Sept 25th 2011

I would like to know why the organizers of the CSRA Precision Rifle Match did not show up???
I got there at 8:30 AM and left at 9:37 AM because no organizers showed up. An other CSRA member showed up at about 9:00 AM and stayed, after I left, to sight in his hunting rifle.
