There are 2 circumstances where 5/30 would be a good idea...
1) If you do a lot of shooting south of the border, you can take the pin out as soon as you cross, do your shooting, re-pin, come back all nice and legal
2) SHTF, enough said

Wolverine use to have them (I got 2 5/30's) don't know if they have any in stock or not though. Those 2 actually work really good, better than the 10 round XCR pistol mags.
