8208 in 30-06 recipes?

Hi folks looking for advice on IMR8208xbr or D8208br for use in the 30-06. I know there are better powders but none of those are available anywhere I have access to and no I am not in the mood to pay to have powder shipped from wherever it is available. I am hoping to load 168 nosler e-tips and/or 150gr TTSX and based on the reading I have done 45 grains seems like a very conservative starting load to work from. Max velocity is not a priority, nor is sub MOA performance. I have 210, 215, 210M and WLRM primers as well as WW and RP brass. Thanks in advance.

If I was going to use that powder because it was the only powder I had, I would use 3031 Start load, and go from there.

Not sure about IMR8208 but I can’t see D8208 working very well. Its a pretty fast burning powder, almost too fast for heavy 223 projectiles.

I found that the d8208 was ten percent faster than the imr8208 just like it said on the jug so use the imr with ganderites guidance.
