tagged for interest, if you check out the black and green shotguns photo gallery there are a few wearing wood furnature, some say they have needed to sand out the forends to get them to fit.
i've ordered an ATI stock set and I believe i'll have to sand out the forend to get it to fit.
Just got my ati stock and installed it.
I removed a spacer from between the stock and reciever as the ati stock fit better without it. Is that ok? Do I need that spacer.
Also my trigger group is a little loose. I don't know if it has always been or I just noticed after I changed some parts? Still cycles and fires fine.
Still waiting for my forend so I have no feedback on that yet.
loose trigger group seems normal for the way it's installed, i'm not to concerned about it, and it seems that nothing I did affected it.
just got my forend and installed it. it is the ATI job that comes with a handful of adapters for other models aswell.
the rear forend adapter was very tight but it went on, if I need to take it off i'm sure it'll be possible, I didn't do any sanding or anything at all.
the ATI manual specified rem870 aswell as norinco shotguns maybe that have addressed the issue.
