I just installed a new NEIT bolt release on my 858. Is there supposed to be a spring underneath it to keep it unlocked? If so I think I have lost my spring because the bolt won't go forward till I release it. If I have lost the spring where can I get a new one and where does it go? On the mag release there is a hole that the spring goes into that is apparent.
Never mind. I found the spring where most springs go. Across the room.
I gather the spring goes over the little shaft that sticks up in the chamber area.
