858 Lower Handguard Pin

Does anyone know where I can get a new lower handguard pin? Mine walked out on me while shooting out in the bush and I lost it. I guess I could try to find a roll pin or similar from a hardware store that will fit but would prefer an original.

Unless you're going to peen the ends of a factory pin, it won't stay in very well after you've removed and re-installed it.

Get a roll pin and be done with it.

I like STEVO's idea of a roll pin for the handguard which would be a great fix.

I started a thred a week or so ago on this subject about trigger mech pins walking.

They make antiwalk pin setups for the trigger mech.

Is it possible to make a quick detach antiwalk pin style for the lower handguard?

I sure wish someone here in CANADA could make up antiwalk pins,,,hint, hint

I lost mine a couple of weeks ago at the range as well. Haven't really thought about what I was going to use as a replacement,,,now I have an idea,,cheers!!
