You're right, it is slightly different than the pic. The OP says it's a PRI, though.

Won't such a rail cook your optic when you shoot for a prolonged period of time? I've read about some cases of people doing courses with AK's in the state, and they had an optic mounted on a rail similar to this one and it wasn't too great.

I have seen that on youtube torture tests but those were extreme circumstances. Get out there and test it out. Let us know how it holds up, or is it for looks on your gun??
