A quick question here from the shotgun newbie. I bought a Grizzly Mag fed with
a 15" barrel, but would like to have an option to use a longer barrel sometimes. Will a standard Remington 870 barrel fit on it?

youre going to shoot trap with a mag fed?
the fudds are going to love you
consider another option:
the Remington 870 Express Trio (3 barrels) is on special at LeBarons for $569.
it comes with a 23" cantilever scope mount fully rifled barrel. with hunting season approaching, you can quickly sell that (unfired) for $200+shipping on the EE.
the 23" fiber optic sight/removable turkey choke barrel you can also easily sell (unfired) for at least $150.
you are left with an 870 Express with a 28" vent rib barrel with Rem-Chokes. net cost just over $200 (+taxes).
I think you guys are right. I will probably need an entirely new shotgun instead of spending money on a new barrel. I tried shooting today with my friend's 18" Stevens shotgun. It was my first time ever. I hit 7 out of 25 targets. Maybe with a more suitable shotgun I would have done better, maybe not. Who knows? One thing is for sure-I definitely enjoyed it.
There's no reason you need a new shotgun. Just buy a new longer barrel. The magazine feeding will make it more easy to use than a tube fed pump anyway. Who cares what some old fudds think?
