What type of chokes does the barrel use? I noticed that it ships with a screw in modified choke.

I just received my Grizzly 12.5 with ghost ring, the description said it was supposed to have the threads in the barrel? I dont see any threads for any screw in choke

They look like the same barrel, the blade front sight, and according to the description, it says "Screw-in Modified Choke" or "Interchangeable Screw-In Choke (MOD)". I think they mean the same thing, and both barrels look the same on their website. Maybe give them a call or send them an e-mail?

Yah I ordered the one up top. The barrel i got on it is smooth cylinder bore. I'll call them tomorrow and hopefully sort it soon, cause I need to use this thing on friday.

Man, I hope the one I ordered is as described on the website. It looks like the same barrel, with the raised pistol type front sight, so I just hope that the one I ordered is threaded for different chokes.

What, that gigantic shark-fin front blade sight? Haha, well, not much other choices out there. The $150 NEA barrels are 14 inches, no front sight at all, and not threaded....there are Dlask barrels for a ton of $$ (good quality though, I heard). This was the best choice for me.

So I got my new threaded barrel the next day from when I called. Put it on and put 50 shells mixed birdshot and slugs through the new Grizzly. Action felt a little rough at first, but after a few shells it smoothed out and action is very smooth now.

Is it centred/indexed properly?
