Does anyone know if the barrels you can buy for the 870 will also work on the 870 3 1/2" mag or are they just for the 2 3/4 - 3" 870's?

I am looking for a slug barrel and just wondering if that's an issue.

Thanks,

They definatly work on the 3.5" mag receivers... I've got an 870 barrel from 1720 on my 870 Super Mag 3.5"... hehe.

Good christ......

On a related topic, are there any places in Canada that sell 870 barrels that are less than 18.5" for cheap? I'm thinking less than $150. I know MidwayUSA sells their 18.5" for $99. Anything comparable in Canada?

Where is the bayonet? Where is the funky canted mirror on the end?

If you are going to pimp it out son, get er done.

Flashlight, laser and red dot installed already. Bayonet getting installed soon (I already have a SKS spike bayo, it'll be sweet). I'll take some new pics when I get it installed.

11+1 2.75" and hopefully at least 16+1 1.5"

Sweeeet.

How does that thing handle? Is it heavy on the front end, especialy now that you have all the other stuff mounted? Regardles it does look cool 8) :D Got any video of you shooting it or doing a good old infantry bayonet charge?

It's very front heavy, especially with 11 slugs in the tube. After I added the bayo, flashlight, laser I can barely point it without doing figure 8's with the end. So, either I gotta start working out, or she's getting a bipod on the end! hehe... shotgun with bipod... should be sweet!

Here is a video before the toys got added:

Nice :D :D A bipod would look...interesting, especialy with an offset grip on the forend. I saw a picture of one on a detachable magazine feed shotgun, looked cool and kept the operators wrists from hitting the magazine. Due to work I have not been getting to the gym so I will keep my 870 with its 18.5 barrel. I would like to try a pistol grip and collapsable stock, where did you get yours? And how much? I appoligize for not following the original thread

I gave my first born child for the Brobee 870 to AR15 stock adapter.
The AR15 stock is a rock river arms 6 pos ($125), and the AR pistol grip is a Fobus/First Samco G27 grip ($35). The front pistol grip ($35), 6rd side saddle ($39), mag extention ($65) and Barrel Shroud/Heat Shield ($30) are TacStar.
The flashlight was bought off SubZero right HERE (Nuwai Q3- 3 Watt Luxeon LED Flashlight $45), and mounts with some shaved 1" rings to the left side of the barrel/mag extention clamp. The laser was custom manufactured by www.z-bolt.com and is a 22mw green unit with a custom mount to the barrel/mag clamp ($135 for the laser, $50 for the mount).
The 870 top rail was installed by Williams Arms. Cost $60 including drill/tap and install if I remember correctly.

Peice of cake except that my stock kept unscrewing when shooting high power loads, so I took it to the smith, and he tightened it with his AR15 stock wrench no charge. No problems after that!
