870 Deer Smoothbore Turkey/Deer barrel.

Just bought one brand new. Did not come with paper work at all.

It has the front red fiber optic blade and a rear 2 filament green fiber sight that sits atop a ramp.

I need to know the yardage values for the sight on the ramp.

It has 4 main gradations and minor gradations between each main.

Thanks for any help.

Should I just Laser Bore Sight it and put it on centre and start from there?

My guess is that the marked graduations on your sights do not translate into any specific yardages, but are there simply for your reference. Each type/brand of slug is likely to perform differently, so it will take some range time on your part to determine the answer.

Turkey/Deer barrels are usually choked very differently. Extra full for turkey, IC or C for deer. What make?

Its a remington arms barrel with a rifled choke in it. 21"
