I just picked up a new Remington 870 Express Tactical w/XS sights ghost rings sights.
I really like this shotgun and cant wait to get out and do some shooting with it.

I do like the ability to carry as much ammo in the shotgun as possible and I'm wanting to see if you can run a +3 extension on shotgun without it extending past the breaching choke.

Here is an image of the shotgun with the stock +2 extension.

Basically what I am trying to determine is weather the +3 will go past the end of the breaching choke.

i dont think its such a bright idea, even if it lines up flush there will still be muzzle blast through the breacher choke. i doubt itll damage it but itll probably foul it. for just 1 more round, seems like too much bother.

Good point. I never though of that :p
I don't really have a problem with fouling of the mag tube. Simple enough to just clean off.
Oddly enough I really enjoy stripping down my guns and cleaning/maintaining them. I clean and oil my guns weekly so I don't think this will be to big of a problem.
