870 Express barrel on a Wingmaster

My new express barrel doesn't have the ball detent so the mag cap is only on hand tight. What works best other than getting a kit and drilling into the barrel band , a wave washer or a thin O-ring. Thanks

Buying the plastic piece that goes on the mag cap side to ensure it stays on? It has teeth on it and 'ratchets' when you screw the mag cap on...?

That's what I use on my Auto-5 forearm. It's cheap and a roll lasts a long time.

I just tighten mine on. It's an aftermarket smiley face job with no ball. It's never come loose through everything I've thrown at it.

You must've paid the EE price for it, I only paid $0.99 for my last roll

X2, I put an end cap with a swivel on it that doesn't have the dimples on it and it never comes loose.
