870 extention barrel clamp question

i just recently got a 3 shot extention for my 870 as well as a tac star barrel clamp to go along with it.

went to the range today with a pile of slugs and i noticed that the barrel clamp was slowly working its way to the end of the barrel with each shot.
i tightened it as hard as i could and it still kept coming loose.

a fellow at the range had the factory made defence model 870 and the barrel clamp it came with was much more rugged looking and had a good fit with the barrel and mag extention.

where can i get one of these factory 870 barrel clamps? i looked all around and ill i could find is the tac star one i have or a varient of it.

for the factory remington ones you need to use a remngton extension also because it is notched for the screw in the middle so there is no chance of it sliding forward...

You don't have the clamp tight enough, but sometimes a bit of electrical tape will help.

The factory Remmy clamps won't work on all exrensions because the screw is too large.

If you look at a Remmy extension, there is a groove circumferencially on the tube to allow the larger screw to fit.
