870 extraction problem

Seems as if my 870 express is developing an extraction problem from the tube mag to the chamber. This just started happening after about 1000 rounds. I take it I need a new part, but which one ?

Try Cleaning. If that doesn't work polish the chamber. If that doesn't work buy a steel police extractor. If all that fails sell it and buy a Wingmaster!

I'm not sure if you have a feeding problem or an extraction problem from that description.

If it is a tube feed issue, check your shell latches. Makes sure they're moving freely and not bent. Also that your follower isn't grimmy and sticking and there is proper spring tension. Lastly, make sure the ramps on the action bars aren't blurred up.

X2. I watched a buddy ruin his hunting trip when he bent the latch because it caught on his glove while loading and bent preventing the gun from working
