870 Finish?

as badboybeeson explained our finishes hold up extremely well and will never rust. If you wish to remove it you have to sandblast it off. It will hold extremely well on plastic stocks too.

So what color or camo would you recommend for a turkey hunting gun. I would want something that would blend in for spring. I like OD green but don't think it would work in a turkey gun.

by the way what color did you use on his 870?

$240 shipped, taxes in is pretty reasonable. Tac Ord want $195 for parkerizing, $245 for park + either teflon or gun-kote finishes and then you must pay taxes and shipping each way. Total would be near $300 from them.

No I think it's a fare price, just funny that it's the same price I paid for my rig.

As for Dark Earth or Coyote Brown, I think a turkey would spot that in a flash

I am not a turkey hunter.......but I would go with a variance of colors to blend in. Start with a Olive green base and go with a woodland tan, and woodland brown. Here is a picture of a AR-15 done up in a with a Coyote Brown Base color (the magazine in pic left coyote Brown) Woodland brown and Olive green misted on top. This way the gun has a very smooth subtle appearance no sharp broken lines. From a distance it looks like a solid color but get with in 10ft you actually notice a little green and brown. So basically what I am trying to say is that using a combination of colors for your area you can make it fit in just right. try to visualize where you hunt and what time of year, and you should come up with a good camo.
