I just grabbed an older wingmaster in 2 3/4" only..what do i need to swap out to be able to shoot 3"..i heard it just the extractor and then get a 3" barrel also..is this true...thanks for any help and info

Then you probably will be good to go. I didn't measure the height as they should be the same cause 12 gauge is going to be the same.

It's the ejector spring that needs changing and you will need to re-finish or touch up the receiver after it's changed out.....

All that's needed to shoot 3" shells for your now 2-3/4" receiver, is a 3" capable barrel, longer ejector and ejector spring.

However, replacing the ejector and its spring is not for the faint at heart. You'll need a smith for that. Then, your receiver will need to be refinished, cause it will not be pretty when the two ejector rivets are romoved and new ones are restaked.

You'd be better served by finding the proper type of receiver.

To concur, the ejection ports are the same size for 2-3/4 and 3".
