870 Quick Change Stock?

Is there any such thing as a quick change stock for the 870?
Something like the Mossberg FLEX system?
I know there's the MCS stock system, but that's quite expensive and nearly impossible to find.
I thought it would be an interesting way to make an 870 easier to transport, but I can't find anything like this.

Beyond the MCS kit, Cadex makes an adapter that you can remove the buttstock and leave just the pistol grip.

Other option would be to install the Mesa adapter and Matador side-folder.

I'm kind of surprised no one has copied the MCS system, it's really easy on the receiver side and wouldn't be all that hard to make it work on the stock side.

Ya, its just a dovetail with a notch in it.

Or even just something with a thumbscrew.

I think most manufacturers are nervous about the OAL thing - in the US making a short shotgun (ie one that can function without a stock), but isn't registered is a big hairy Federal thing.
