I've seen a couple pics posted recently of Remington 870s with a picatinny rail forend. Most of the time they appear to have rail covers and no grip.
Has anybody tried these with a vertical foregrip? And is it a natural feel? I would like to get a short foregrip, which I think Dlask was making. But I wonder if a vertical foregrip would feel strange since your hand is oriented straight down rather than usual straight back way of moving the pump back.
I tried to find an angled grip (like this Tacstar forend below) that can attach by picatinny rail, but so far no luck. In my mind, I could see this feeling easier. But everything seems to be straight 90 degree vertical.
I like the idea of being able to attach a small light to the side of the rail, as opposed to the Surefire forend which I found a bit clunky.
