870 receiver damage?

I have an 870 express with maybe 200 rounds through it, mostly with an NEA 14 inch barrel. I tore it down for a cleaning and found these marks/dents inside the receiver

Looks like the locking block has been hammering the iside of the receiver, although it shows no signs of peening or damage. Maybe 0.020" deep, or possibly a touch less.

Anybody else got this?

Having worked on 1000,s of 870 I can tell you that's normal.
When we refinish 870,s for custome builds that area is normaly polished. Out, depending on the age. And use of the gun as to if its worth remmoving that damage or just polishing the area smoother.
