I’m looking for a rifled barrel to hunt deer with on my Remington 870 DM. Any recommendations or barrels to avoid? Remington and Carlson are the only two suppliers I’ve found so far. Site vendors who supply them? Haven’t been satisfied with what I found on google yet.

I went and had a look at it and I believe it is the 24" barrel. It is in excellent shape and it is certainly heavy.
Thanks for all the help! The hastings is just too pricey for my blood and its been difficult to find the other options. After thinking it over, I've decided to see what kind of accuracy/range I can get out of my 870 with a red dot on it with various slugs and to save my money towards a Marlin 1895 SBL in 45/70 (if and when I can find one). Main reason for wanting a slug barrel was to get more range out of my 870 while being a safer option in areas that have acreages on a lot of the quarters. I've decided a 45/70 is a lot more versatile and I've never had a lever action so it should be a lot of fun too.

How much they asking for the Hastings?
I couldn't get my 870 with remington 24" rifled barrel as good as I'd like(after burning $150 worth of shells threw it)) so I sold the barrel, Kept the 20" smoothbore for back up and bought a Savage 220. Just as good results as Hastings now.

They wanted $800 for the barrel. I've tried rifled barrels with sabot slugs in 12 and 20 guage without much success as as far as accuracy goes. I haveasmoothbore slug barrel with rifle sight that likes challenger slugs so thats what I use.
