X2 I have the saddle mount myself and love it. The scope is a bit high though, but no big deal. Taking on and off is easy. Leave the scope on the mount, and when you go to change over to the mount, surprisingly the shots are fairly close to where you had them before.Waterfowler said:If it is going to be a slug gun only, go with drill and tap.
