870 stock bolt - Is the length standard?

Hey guys,

Ran into a bit of a problem trying to attach my new 'blond' wood to my Norinco 870.

I removed the synthetic stock, and tried to use the same bolt to attach the 870 wood. Problem is, the stock bolt appears to be about 1" too short when I use it with the wood!

Is the issue here with my new stock, or is the Norinco synthetic stock bolt known to be a different dimension than a real 870 one? Any idea where to get an 870 stock bolt?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks for the tip.

As a solution, I just drilled the hole in the buttstock a little deeper. It fits now!

I always thought it was a standard length, but guess not! Thanks for the help!
