870 wear

Is this normal wear for an 870? noticed it the other day. I believe its call ed the slide bar lock? Hitting the reciever

Of course it is.
Sharp edges might need a soft file to prevent cuts to tender fingers.

My mid-fifties Wingmaster has the same mark, quite normal and won't get much worse. Nothing to worry about.
