Btw, the 21" vent rib is the shortest 3.5" 12g barrel available for 870.

Good to know... not much into 3.5" as I don't bird hunt regularly. I pretty much only use 2-3/4" shot/slugs... sometimes 3" 1.5 OZ slugs for predator defense in the bush.
