does anyone know if 870 XCS is built on the express action or is it built with 870 police frsme and parts ?

They are all the same action, just parts are more refinded depending on the model.

Remington told me police action. Based on handling an 870 Express compared to my XCS Magnum, I would say its 60% likely that is true. Mine is smoother and more crisp right out of the box, but I don't know for certain.

it would be nice if it was listed especially for the price the XCR is compared to the express.
