870P... Where to get one and how much?

Hey guys im just curious to know who carries or can get the Remington 870P and what I should expect to pay for one? Im interested in a 14" bbl model... stocks and other stuff doesnt matter as it can be easily changed out.

Brand new you can try Wolverine (top of the page) but with a 14" barrel, that might be hard to come by. Used you can check the EE, but again with a 14" barrel it might be hard to come by. I picked up mine used on the EE with a factory 14" barrel for $890 shipped. Very good price.

Yeah your gun makes me want one more! Im jealous man... damn good deal too.

I want to do a similar build to yours and instead of using the 870 Tac I got right now and adding a 14" barrel I would rather get the real deal 870P

There are a few on the EE for $1000+ and that seems a bit much for a used gun... wolverine has them from $800+ new not sure about the 14" though.

Even finding a 14" barrel would probably make me happy for now as even that is hard enough to come by. I could go with a 12.5 grizz bbl or something but thats not what im looking for... I got my heart set on a 14!
 
Wow... I got my 14" police (receiver and barrel) mod choked with Knoxx stock and Wilson combat ghost rings for $500 in the EE about three years ago... Sold the knoxx for 150. :)

I knew it was a good deal, but had no idea HOW good!
 
the 14 inch remington barrels are bringing 3 to 4 hundred dollars alone . i picked up a complete gun at a gun show recently at a very good price . 14 inch barrel police magnum receiver speedfeed stock and one shot extension plus a Tennessee automatic weapons sling . i paid the 450.00 asking price and felt like i had stole the gun as it showed very little use .i have only seen two of these 14 inch barreled guns and i have been interested in guns for a lifetime .
 
Ahh man you guys get some damn good deals! I've been looking for a few months and only seen 2 come up in the EE. Someone sell me one! I'm going to keep looking in the EE in the new year if someone sees one come up locally let me know!

I'd say even at a $1000 it's a good price, if it's a 14" barrel and provided the barrel is Remington, receiver is Police.
 
Ridiculous prices you guys are quoting. I payed 550ish and felt like I payed too much at the time. Rush purchase to participate in a shotgun night at the Shooting Edge. I bought the 20" inch instead of the 14" (same price - Wholesale Calgary) because I think the 14 is less gun really.

I havent seen any prices like the ones you guys are quoting! I would be all over that like a fat kid on cake! Im willing to spend under $1000... closer to $800 but havent seen anything even close! If I could get one for $500-$600 I would be out shooting it right now not posting here! :p
 
Brodie69, if you're looking to spend under $1000, check out Bobbyv8's for sale in the EE. He's asking $1000 but that includes almost $200 in accessories. Maybe you can work out a deal with him. Don't pass up the chance for a 14" factory barrel. And no, I have no affiliation with this guy.

I hope something comes up. The one you mentioned ADK... I would scoop it if I could but wont have the cash in time for it as he has a buddy who wants it aswell :( Better luck next time I guess.
