Mine was tough at first. I took the trigger group out of the rifle and closed it up (as when it is installed). Push down slightly on the hammer and the safety should engage. Repeat 1000 times or until the end of your thumb has worn off.
 
Ya just had to put that purse down and rack that safety like a MAN! :evil: ha ha ha ha

If you are keen take your curved tip syringe (I sell these at the clinics) and greast the contact point where the safety engages the hammer and locks it properly. Ya might have to ease the hammer forward in the TG when it's outta da rifle. Little bit of KY Jelly there never hurts! :nest:

I've seen one method where you lift the trigger guard up, slip a ballpoint pen through the safety and just work it back and forth till it's worn in a bit. That way you can save your index finger.
 
took my trigger group apart and helped the break in process with a dremel. Got it to where i can engage/disengage it with my pinky:). Wouldnt recommend it though, take to much material and it will become unsafe.
