I have heard from time to time that the selection of 8mm bullets is not very good.
I wonder about this since I have quite a variety, and there are still a few I do not
have [or use] Here is a picture of my selection:

From Left to right: 225 Barnes original; 220 A-Frame; 220 Woodleigh Weldcore; 200 Speer Hot-Cor; 200 Nosler Partition; 200 A-Frame; 200 Accubond;
196 Norma Oryx; 196 Norma Alaska; 196 Norma Dual Core PP; 196 Norma Dual Core; 185 Remington Cor-Lokt; 180 Nosler E-tip; 180 Nosler Ballistic Tip;
175 Sierra Pro-Hunter.
Missing several bullets of 170 & 150 [and lighter]grain. Also missing 220 grain Sierra Game King [I have some of these somewhere] Norma 227 Grain SP.
Don't think a person is handicapped much by shooting the 8mm rifles. :) Dave.

The selection of 8mm bullets used to be quite good.

I believe that the term now refers to the unavailability of the bullets and ammunition.

Privi is IMHO bottom of the line as far as bullet consistency is concerned.

Some of the 8mm variants haven't been available for several years, such as .318,.328,.329,.330 diameter for use in Austrian/French/Portuguese milsurp reloads
