8mm dummy reloads

I am looking for a source to have spent 8mm Mauser brass reloaded with the appropriate bullet. No powder...no primer.
For WWII display. I see them in the US for sale but I assume I couldn't bring them in to Canada. Looking for 200 - 300. I have no spent brass.

Any direction here guys?
 
A couple or half a dozen might be reasonable, but 200-300?

If they are dummies I'm not sure what they would qualify as for import. I'd look into it anyway.
 
Had you asked before I scrapped them I had a pile of spent berdan brass. Do you want it preloaded or are you Just looking for components?
 
you should be able to find somebody that has a load of that BERDAN primed surplus stuff- just remove the decapping pin/rod BEFORE you resize it, and seat the bullets as normal- be best if you can find some 8mm pull-down bullets as well, but you may have to settle for hunting bullets- if you have to go with boxer primed, a bit of silicon in the primer pocket

I am putting together a WWII display and would need that many for the German MG belts.
So I would need spent 8mm brass, leaving the spent primers in, no powder and of course 8mm military looking bullets. Again all for display..never to be chambered into a weapon because all the weapons would be deactivated and could never chamber a round. It must be 8mm to ensure they will fit into the belt.
All for show.
A few suppliers in the US will ship to a US address but not to Canada.

I dont have the ability to reload assuming I had the components but I would be more than willing to pay someone to do this.

Any takers?

Would need the brass, bullets and a Lee 8X57 Mauser Die set (can help you with where to get that) and 2-3 breach locks
Apart from the cases and bullets, would cost around $50

The silicon in the primer pocket may look a bit tacky for a museum type display. Just deactivate some live primers with a bit of oil or soak them in some water.

There, fixed that for ya. ;)

Maybe if you spoke with a store/dealer in Buffalo NY they could get the dummy rounds for you if you could clear the import/export with Canada and the US? Long shot, but it might be worth a try.

I have about 200 rounds of live milsurp 8mm at home (from various countries but identical apart from headstamps), but I don't know if I could afford to give them up and spend the required time to deactivate them.

Milsurp 8mm is pretty scarce and would cost around $1.50 a pop to replace with new-manufacture stuff.

"...not sure what they would qualify as for import..." Importing isn't the issue. Exporting from the States is the issue.
Your best bet would be buying the brass and bullets at a gun show, then find somebody who loads 8mm Mauser. The ideal thing would be a Lee Loader, but they don't make one in 8mm Mauser.
Or make a deal with desporterizer.
