I took my Yugo 8mm out for a stroll last night to get the cobwebs off it and see if it still shoots. Well one crow sat on a branch for a few seconds too long....185 Remington Core-Lokt bullet doing 2582 fps or slightly less at 60 yards. It rained feathers for awhile.....I think I was a tad over gunned.

you need a .325wsm . we all know a standard 8mm mauser will kill nothing.

I heard the same thing about those British rifles, you know those funny looking cartridges with the rim on them..........yeah those , .303 British I believe they are called.

I had to swap out the scope because the Command Post is just too thick at 200 yards. After installing a different 4x with a duplex reticle I took it out and run about 40 more rounds through it.
After getting it to where it shot decent I set up an old rusty steel wheel up on a stump at 250 + yards . ( narrow view towards me)
I aimed for the top of the wheel and after the shot there was a slight delay for the sound to get back to me and the rim rolled off the stump. The 8mm Yugo is sighted right on at 100 and the bullet drop on the 185 grainer was around 9 inches.:beerchug: Time to take the .338 Ruger out for a spin......
