Hats off to Terry at Jet Bullets for their .327 cast projectiles.
Finally got to the range with my French rifle collection last week and the loads I worked with these bullets work extremely well. An 1890 carbine with a very worn bore, that I swore off as a wall hanger, was able to group three rounds within 2" at 100yds. That's just insane and I had to try it again with a full 10 rounds, that produced a nice 4-5" group with several coming within an inch of each other.
Fired them off through another Berthier carbine, and a Lebel. Amazing results with all.
I used both Alliant (16-17grs) and 4198 (20grs) with no filler. Results were similar.
I fired off some WW2 surplus rounds at the end to compare. These cast bullets were just as accurate if not more, though my shoulder did not like those full powered surplus rounds in a light carbine.
Next month I plan on taking my Italian rifle collection out to see if Jet's .268 cast bullets can perform as well.
