Do I have these right? Is it collectable? Approximate value? Unfortunately they are just loose rounds with no box.

These two are actually hunting cartridges, but if anyone knows about the date or value I'd appreciate it. These are packed in 10 round boxes.

Your hrn is steel-cased 1942 production by Presswerk GmbH in Metgethen, East Prussia. Most likely it will be SmE: 178-grain mild-steel-cored slug.

The second one with the T-Crescent-C stamp is Turkish, 1945. It is a perfect copy of the original 1904 JS loading: 154-grain bullet pushing just short of 2900 ft/sec from a 29-inch tube. I had a small batch of this and it shot terribly. Pulled it down and reloaded bullets and charges into cases with NEW primers...... tried it in 4 rifles and it shot UNDER 1 MOA in 3 of them! It was REALLY GOOD but the primers are getting dodgy. Grab all you possibly can!!

Hope this helps.

Your No.3 is a 1934 case by Polte, Werke Magdeburg, reloaded with a commercial bullet and the No.4 is a 1949 Czech case similarly reloaded.

You have them identified as Dynamit Nobel, so are the boxes marked as made by them?

Unfortunately they have absolutely no collector value and not much as shooting ammo.

Regards

^ Yes, the boxes are labelled Dynamit Nobel. So they're factory reloads? It's interesting because of the two boxes I have opened, all casings within each have the same headstamps, so I assume they reloaded batches of surplus and turned them into commercial rounds. This had me totally confused because of the headstamps, but now it makes sense.

These are export boxes, as you don't have the weight in grams, but rather in grains. It is also obvious that they are repacked.
Load and shoot, enjoy!
