8x64 brass

Opinion on brass please. I have factory ammo from S&B so I can use that brass but have read only bad things about this brass. Thinking of getting some Lapua 7x64 and necking it up. Thoughts?

S+B brass has poorly punched /cut primer pockets ,so it's not the best brass for reloading IMO..................so it's the 8x64 S or 8x64I not 8x68S ?

Have you tried RWS or do we even have an importer ?
Can 7x64 be used FL sized? PPU makes it.

I don't know if you can use 7x64, but if you can, then you can also use 280Rem brass as that is what I size for my 7x64.

I have used S&B brass for 7X64 and 8X57 JS and have found it be perfectly functional brass.

I've had at least 7 reloadings on my 8 x 64 S&B brass, no problems yet. I've made brass from RWS 7 x 64 and various 3006 casings. They all work fine, but have necks that are up to 1.5mm shorter than the S&B.

brenneke was making and offering brass long time ago. a very good caliber but hard to find brass.

PPU makes 7x64 brass perhaps one of the dealers can order it in for you?
