I have been using Nosler Accbonds, 250gr but my supply is gone and my research has not come up with any. Last year i loaded a 250gr TSX but did not kill anything with that.

I am wondering what others have used for hunting in this caliber and looking for comments on terminal performance., mines a 9.3mmx66 Sako, basically a +P '62.

Mainly for moose and some times the ranges get out to 400+ yards.

The Hornady GMX seemed to do well in the .375 test: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/for...082-**-375-Bullet-Test-Results**(lots-of-pics!)
I haven't actually tried it myself.

I've shot 2 animals with the 250 gr. Woodleigh; 1 coyote at 200 yds and a deer at 150. Coyote was drt, deer was a little disappointing. One shot, ran 40-50 yds, then stopped and looked around as if wondering wtf the noise was about. Was just lining it up for another try when it tipped over. Seems like a tough bullet; probably still going.

I think 400 yds is stretching the limits of the calibre. Out to 300, the difference in trajectory is so slight ( with the x62) that I've pretty much decided to just use 285's for everything.

brad the PPsn from woodleigh, may work, the 250 grains swift a frame too ...if you are not one rush hope our test will be finish. not on the speed of the x64 but that will you an idea.

one guy is telling a lot good on the 250ttsx (handle is barnes 270 i think).

I shoot 35 Whelen and a 9.3 x 62. I have only taken game with the Whelen. My projectile of choice is the 225gr TSX. I took an elk with it last Fall at 227 yards. My handloads are right about 2600 fps and I sight in at 200 yards. The bullet was a perfect boiler room shot and put a nice .358 cal hole through the rib on the entrance side and smashed 3 ribs on the way out. It was a perfect wound channel with no meat loss and obviously no bullet recovery. These are great bullets that I certainly will be using in my 9.3. SHoot with confidence:)

The TSX is not my own personal choice when I run out of AB 250... I don't like it's lenght whcih makes it as long as a 286 grainer. I do much prefer the Woodleigh 250 PP SN... The 250 RN SN is not a bad choice either, but I do mostly use it when I take a HVA M/46AN or a M/649 based on the Swedish Mauser because it makes the perfect short round without loosing capacity.
